I am a doctoral candidate in the Girguis Lab in the department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University.  

I get excited about the ocean, teaching, being outside, my nephews, eating good food, and any combination thereof.

Here I am inside the DSV Alvin at about 2000m deep in the eastern Pacific.
